Emergency Contact Information

All students studying abroad must provide a reliable emergency contact who can be reached promptly if an urgent health, safety, or welfare concern arises. Accurate contact information helps the school and support providers communicate quickly with an appropriate person, coordinate necessary assistance, and make informed decisions when the student cannot respond.

Homestay Information

Students must clearly identify their meal requirements, as well as preferences related to food, family composition, pets, and other household factors. This information helps us prioritize health and safety needs, understand personal preferences, and identify a suitable host family placement.

Three Meal Plan Options

The half-board meal plan consists of two ‘North American-style’ meals per day. Breakfast is often self-serve and dinner is frequently a sit-down event with family members. No lunch is provided, including weekends.

The regular meal plan consists of three ‘North American-style’ meals per day. Breakfast is often self-serve, lunch is bagged for consumption at school, and dinner is frequently a sit-down event with family members.

The specialty meal plan is for those with gluten or lactose intolerances, severe food allergies, vegan or high-calorie dietary consumption requirements. Due to higher costs associated with purchasing and preparing specialty meals, a monthly stipend fee will be assessed.

Allergies, Pre-existing Medical Conditions and Medications

Students using our university, college, and ESL application must disclose any allergies, pre-existing medical conditions, and medications they intend to bring to Canada. Complete and accurate information helps us identify suitable accommodations, prepare appropriate support, and respond effectively if a health concern arises during the student’s stay.

Arrival Information

Students must provide an estimated arrival date, even if flights have not yet been arranged, and complete flight details once available. This information helps us coordinate the student’s arrival, as well as host family placement, transportation, and other necessary supports as required.

Departure Information

Unless pre-arranged due to special circumstances, we do not offer a pre-paid airport return service as various self-serve options are available to departing students. We are pleased to outline the alternatives available once the student has arrived in Canada.
