Required Documents for High School Students

As a High School Student there are additional documents that are required to complete your application. These are called Supporting Documents and they include all of the following:

  1. A recent passport-sized photo of the student applicant (.jpg, .gif, or .png format preferred).
  2. A copy of the student applicant’s current passport (information page only).
  3. An introductory letter prepared by the student applicant describing why he/she is intending to participate in a study abroad program and what he/she hopes to gain from the experience.
  4. An introductory letter prepared by the student applicant’s natural parents describing why they are supporting their child’s participation in a study abroad program and what they hope the child will gain from the experience.
  5. A scanned copy of a personalized photo journal that includes, but is not limited to, candid photos that depict important people and events in the student applicant’s life journey.
  6. A scanned copy of the student applicant’s official medical vaccination summary.

If you have also applied for enrollment in Monitored Custodianship Service for High School Students, the following documents are also required:

  1. A copy of our Custodial Guardianship Agreement signed by the student applicant’s natural parents.
  2. A copy of our Participant Agreement signed by the student applicant and the student applicant’s natural parents.

Following a thorough review of your application, your agent (if applicable) will receive an invoice for the requested services. If you are a direct applicant (no agent) we will send the invoice directly to you. Please note that your application will not be finalized until full payment is received.
